Designs By Daykin
How much notice is required for an order?
Order details need to be confirmed no later than 6 weeks before
invitations are required for posting, usually about 4 months before the
wedding date. Due to workloads at busy periods it is advisable to
secure a place in my design diary. You can confirm your wedding date
with a £30 non refundable booking fee which will be deducted from your
final balance.
How long will it
take between ordering my wedding stationery and delivery?
You should allow approximately four to six weeks between ordering and
delivery. If you require your wedding stationery immediately, why not
use our express service. I
suggest that you send out your day invites first, collate the replies
and then send out the evening ones, hence avoiding having to ask an
evening guest to the whole day to make up numbers, and making them feel
second best!
NB: If you have 80 guests to the day then you do not need 80 invitations and the same applies to the evening invitations. Allow one invitation per couple/family.
Are envelopes and insert pages included?
Yes- for the cards I include colour co-ordinated printed insert sheets
and white, cream or ivory envelopes and for scrolls a postal tube is
included.
Is
there a minimum order number?
There is no minimum order. It is often advisable to order a few extras,
particularly with evening invites. These can be left with guests names
blank for any last minutes invites.
How
do I pay?
I do have credit card facilities, through paypal. However, you can also
pay by cash,
postal order, or cheque payable to Designs by Daykin. Final payment is
required before your goods are collected or dispatched.
Can
I choose my own wording?
I will print your personal choice of invite wording or I have a
selection of options with a choice of font styles.
Do
you provide samples by post?

will be charged at face value. The fee for samples will be refunded off
any subsequent order placed.
I'm
getting married abroad. Can I still have wedding stationery?

having a big celebration back home afterwards, then I can provide the
invitations for these.
Can
you do different card sizes?
I have given three sizes on my price list but I can supply other sizes
if requested - just ask.
What should I do if I run out of
stationery once my order has been delivered to me?
Not a problem. Firstly please contact me as soon as possible and let me
know what you require and I will agree with you a date for delivery -
the price of each additional card will be the same as your previous
order and postage will be charged at a first class rate which will be
advised to you. Your extra cards will be despatched to you once payment
has been received.

children's names on my wedding invitations?
If children
are invited to your wedding, you include their name on their parents'

children at your wedding it is a good idea to include a line explaining
that, just to be clear. Let parents know in advance if you have made
special arrangements for their children.

you decide to have readings or music in your ceremony, this is usually
submitted and discussed with the registrar prior to the ceremony as you
will need their approval.
What is a Save the
